Rail Travel

Travelling by train is the most civilised way of travel ever invented. I like
long travels by train, particularly in North America, where the passenger railway network may not be as dense or fast as in Europe, but where the services of Amtrak and VIA offer an unprecedented occasion to discover the country in style, travelling in comfort and discovering the wide landscapes.

VIA's Hudson Bay in Churchill, Manitoba

Amtrak's Southwest Chief in Albuquerque, New Mexico

VIA's Abitibi in Senneterre, Québec

Rail vehicles can also be found in city centres, they are then called streetcars or trams. More about this in the next section!
